3 BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
1 EXECUTIVE BRANCH
Would you like to be President and in charge of the Executive Branch? The President is in charge of the Executive Branch of our government. (Information Point 1) The Executive Branch is in charge of the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force. (Information Point 2) The President travels around the world to make agreements, peace, and friendships with other countries' leaders. (Information Point 3) The Executive Branch tells Congress how our country is doing and if we need new laws. (Closing) I think being in charge of the Executive Branch would be awesome, but you would be very challenging and busy!
LEGISLATIVE BRANCH
(TOPIC) The Legislative Branch in the United States is Congress. It is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate. (Informational Point 1) Congress meets in the capital building in Washington D.C. and they work to make laws. (Informational Point 2) States send representatives to both the Senate and House of Representatives. They send 2 representatives to Senate and the amount of representatives vary going to the House of Representatives based on how many people live in the State. (Informational Point 3) In order to make a new law, both the Senate and House of Representatives have to vote yes. Then the President has to sign off on it. (Closing) The Legislative Branch is important to our country because they make up the laws.
Judicial Branch
(Topic) The Judicial Branch of Government is the Supreme Court and it is very important to our country.(Informational Point 1) The Supreme Court is the most influential court in the country and there are 9 judges who serve on it.(Informational Point 2) The Supreme Court studies the laws and decides if they are fair. (Informational Point 3) Congress makes the laws and the President makes sure the laws are obeyed, but the Judicial branch makes sure the laws are honest and just.(Closing) The Judicial Branch is essential to our country's success and it works with the Executive and Legislative branches to make sure our country is run fairly.

(Heart) I woke up and my heart felt like it had been broken into 1000 little pieces:(! (See) Tears were still welling up in my eyes as I thought of my sweet little puppy, Kona. (Taste) I can taste the salt from the tears that had streamed down my face all through the night. (Smell) The smell of death and blood streamed through my nose. (HEAR) I can still hear my sweet Kona yelping in pain and it crumbles my heart. (FEEL) Her soft fur was stained with blood, and my insides were shattering with pain when we had to make the decision to put her to sleep.
